Health and Wellness
Our system of care is not working for us. We need to rebuild it into one that is more effective, coordinated, more readily available, equitable and affordable.
-
Housing
We need more housing, affordable housing and shared equity options that make it easier to one day own a home. It is time to house everyone in Vermont.
-
Access
We need to improve access to legislative information and processes, as well as to advance diversity of representation in school leadership, local and state leaders.
-
Child care
We must prioritize high quality, affordable child care for all. Children, families, our economic welfare and mental health depend on an equitable system that serves us all.
Values

Mobility
Many of our neighbors need investment in their physical and economic mobility. They live with disabilities, are aging, don’t have transportation, health care, child care, safe and affordable housing or ability to socialize regularly. We all deserve to live with dignity and with connections to what we need to participate in our community.
-
Connection
Connection is what gives shape to a community and keeps many of us well. Having social connections with people not only reduces prejudice, but connecting with people and nature supports wellness and recovery from many health challenges. That is why I will support strengthening connections within and across our diverse communities, and protect the natural spaces where we can do that in the great Vermont outdoors.

Purpose
We all deserve to find a sense of purpose. Whether it is through education, making art, sports, caring for others, employment or starting a business - when we feel a sense of purpose we are more likely to see that we are part of a community. I want that for everyone who lives in Winooski.
